IMPONET was presented at the ITEA & ARTEMIS Co-summit 2012

On the 30th-31st October 2012, the Co-summit was held in Paris (France). The IMPONET project was presented by the consortium members at the ITEA & ARTEMIS Co-summit 2012.

The topics carried out were:

  • Technical Challenges & Business impact
  • Expected Results
  • Global Architecture
  • Communication & Power Quality
  • Remote Control & Smart Metering Platform

Regarding the project scope and objectives, three main objectives were introduced, these are: creation of a communication platform to the management of energy data in real time, research of new services that control the quality of electrical signals and interaction between elements of the electricity network and information systems in real time.

On the other hand, the results which the consortium wants to achieve are   the automation of networks, capability of exchanging big amounts of data with field devices in real time and development of power quality components.

A poster was hanged at the IMPONET stand to inform about the objectives, business value and expected results of the project. The poster also did include the consortium partners as well as the project workpackage structure.
