The final project review of IMPONET was celebrated in Madrid on March 12th 2013

On the 12th March, 2013 , the IMPONET final project review was celebrated in Madrid, Spain.

All the consortium members participated in the review. The main objective of this review was to present the final results during the project.

All work package results were presented. The demostrations of the imponet "sub systems" were also shown.
The standardization activities, the dissemination and exploitation perspectives in the future have been also presented.

The most important results achieved by the consortium members were:

  • The System Architecture was elaborated focusing on the ability to process massive amounts of information in real-time while maintaining bi-directional communications through the use of several communication technologies and common standards: IEC 61850, CIM.

  • Significant research has been conducted on techniques and technologies for collecting, storing and processing residential meter data (no-sql).

  • Several platforms for the visualization of customer energy data.

  • The integration of the IMPONET eco-system of services and devices for data acquisition and processing was carried out with the objective to deliver an advanced metering platform for residential customers in one hand and a powerful framework for power quality monitoring on the other one.

The conclusions of the ITEA reviewers were very satisfactory.
